brian d souza aka auntie flo stammt ursprünglich aus goa und hat seine neue heimat in london gefunden. seit seinem debut -goan highlife- im jahr 2011 und dem nachfolger -oh my days- (2012), die beide auf dem huntleys & palmers label erschienen sind, kann sich auntie flo über eine stetig wachsenden fangemeinde, die sich aus den verschiedensten musikalischen lagern zusammensetzt, freuen. es folgten das experimentellere mini-album -future rythm machine- und eps für kompakt und mule musique, die das ganze spektrum seiner musik, das sich von klassischen house und techno über disco zu afrobeat, kwaito, cumbia und südamerikanischen rhythmen zusammensetzt, aufzeigen. seine erste ep für permanent vacation hat dann auch zwei afro futurist knaller aufzuweisen, die sich auf jeder block party zu hause fühlen. auf der rückseite steuert auntie flos esa, label-kumpan und zugleich teil der auntie flo live show, noch einen afro acid dub bei.
